Been working on the music score for the short film “Stop the Dog”. We are collaborating with a guy called Nick Salmon who is writing the score for a saxophone quartet. The Music is designed to reflect the clumsy but lovable nature of the dog in the film [Harvey Waggington] and the soprano, alto, tenor and baritone saxophones are perfect for this!
We now have a professional saxophone quartet lined up and also a local recording studio booked.
The biggest challenge will be getting the recorded music to sync with the key time markers in the film. To help us achieve this, we are having a conductor in the studio to keep as close to the original timing as possible.
Can’t help thinking that someone is watching me…
